Via Ferrata de la Combe

Deep in the gorge, the via ferrata follows the torrent all the way, crossing it several times via numerous suspension bridges. Very well equipped, the route features many rungs and several bridges. All the more difficult or athletic sections can easily be bypassed, allowing everyone to progress at their own pace.

The more challenging sections are suitable for children aged 8 and over. For younger children, roped belay is recommended.

Access: From the junction between the Vallouise road and Puy-Saint-Vincent 1600, follow the signs towards 1600. Park 500 metres further on in the car park. The trail starts on the right, marked by a small sign.

Return: 1 hour. Walk down the track to the road. A vehicle is recommended for the return journey, or you can walk along the road back to the car park.
