Via Ferrata Green

Accessible from the age of 6, this easy via ferrata climbs along the left bank of the Durance. The start is the most challenging section, on a steep wall, but it can be bypassed by following the Durance and then taking a ladder.

After this section, a small suspension bridge leads to a gully, where the first escape route is located. Beyond the bridge, a short traverse leads to the second escape route. After this final junction, the via ferrata continues across the gorge to the end of the route.

Access: Reach the car park from La Bâtie des Vigneaux by following the signs. From the Via Ferrata car park, follow the left bank of the Durance to the start of the cable.

Return: 10 minutes. The descent follows the access trail for the sport route.
